Women Empowerment

Paint the Pains
 Express the Emotions
 Spread the Sensitivity

Woman is always suppressed in every strata of the society irrespective of their economic status. And there was a fight for the equality in every era. Being physically strong, man has ruled women since ages in form of father, brother, boyfriend, lover, husband or son. This ruling turned into brutality in the present era and resulted in increasing crimes against women like female feticide, female trafficking, gang rape, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, abandoning of girl child education, harassment at work place, etc.

Government is trying a lot to remove these evils from society but it is useless, until and unless every one of us make an effort to bring a change. Last week, Women Empowerment Directorate under the Women & Child Development (WCD) Department organized a painting competition which aimed at bringing out the emotions & pains of women through beautiful colors and attempted at spreading the sensitivity of the issue to wake up every one. It was organized at Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Bhopal, on 8th & 9th June ‘13. Its objective was to bring awareness about the crimes against women. The competition was divided into two groups i.e. junior (5-18 years) & senior (above 18 years). The topics for the competition included Beti Bachao Abhiyan, prevention of domestic violence, child sexual abuse among the others. The competition was held in divisional Bal Bhavans including Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Rewa, Jabalpur & Sagar in addition to Bhopal. 168 participants were selected for the prizes. While first prize was of Rs 11,000, second and third prizes were of Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,500 respectively.

This Painting Competition was just a glimpse from the sea of work, MP Government is doing for the welfare of Women with various schemes like Hazrat Fatima Skill Development Programme, Usha Kiran Yojna, Tankan Prashikshan Yojna, Swadhar Yojna, Photo Copier Yojna, Ladali Lakshmi Yojna, Janani Express Yojana, Swadhar Yojna, Mahilaon ke Kaushal Unnyan Bavat, etc. All these Madhya Pradesh Government Schemes are elaborated at SearchSchemes.com where you can also know the procedure for its application. Share it with as many needy females as you can, it might help someone a lot.
Your small effort to share the schemes may bring a big change in society, state and nation at large. Try to make the government efforts fruitful by making these schemes reach the right people who are actually in need.

Since Independence, Indian Government is continuously striving to fulfill basic needs i.e. food, shelter, health and education. But even after 65 years of independence, government is still struggling and unable to augment the living standard of its citizens. According to 2010 data from the United Nations Development Programme, approximately 29.8% of Indians live below the country's national poverty line. There are lots of Government Schemes to bring a difference but inefficient because of mass involvement.

One of the most important basic needs that can change the complete scenario is ‘Education’ and government is running lots of Education Schemes to improve the statistics. But unfortunately, due to lack of awareness people are unable to take advantage of those schemes. Kiran Seva Nyas has taken an initiative to make people aware of the government schemes through SearchSchemes It’s an effort to involve educated segment of the society in spreading the information to the right people and bringing a revolution.

Make a Mother Survive

Mother is not a name, it’s a title that woman receives on the birth of her child. It’s a feeling, emotion, bond and above all a relationship that makes woman complete. Woman is said to be incomplete till the time she experience the feeling of motherhood. But unfortunately in our nation, many mothers lose their motherhood in first few months of the birth of a child. According to the State of the World's Mothers Report 2013, released recently by US-rooted organization Save the Children, India has the highest 3,09,300 first day deaths in the world, i.e. 29% of all the first day deaths in the world. Save the Children ranks 176 countries on maternal and child mortality.

These facts are not just shocking but alarming too. Infact Madhya Pradesh is having the highest Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) among all the states. Conditions are serious in rural MP, where about 63 out of every 1000 births die before the age of one. The average IMR for the country is 54 per thousand live births, a three-point drop again from the IMR of 2010 (57). The rural IMR all over India is 48, with the good performers being small states i.e. Goa & Manipur with just 11 deaths per 1000 births. MP is known for having the worst IMR in the country from the last 10 years.
Study says that major reasons for the high rate of neonatal deaths are premature birth, hygiene & maternal health. Above and beyond, cultural practices like early marriage and child bearing cause low birth weights and stunting and cannot be ignored when we talk about high rates of neonatal deaths.

Government is running various healthcare schemes to improve the conditions and eradicate this evil but citizens’ support is must to bring it in effect at large level. This is an alarming issue. Schemes like Prasav hetu parovahan evam upchar yojana, 24X7 labour rooms, newborn corners, Navjat Sishu Karyakarm, Vijaya Raje Janani Kalyan Bima Yojna, Janani Express Yojana, Bhagyashree Child Welfare Policy, Janani Suraksha Yojna and neonatal intensive care units are opened in hospitals in rural areas to reduce this frightening IMR. These schemes can be effective only with mass support. Needy women are unaware of the information about these facilities which government is providing free of cost and spreading this vital information as far as possible can save many lives. Every time death of an infant is death of a mother & her motherhood. This pain is just unbearable & inexpressible in words. Only a women can understand this feeling and every year almost 3,09,300 families are going through this pain.

You can #MakeAMotherSurvive by making her child survive. It can be done by spreading the information about government schemes and bringing awareness among people. So, what are you waiting for...Explore SearchSchemes.com where details of all the healthcare schemes are mentioned along with their application procedure and spread these schemes like a fire to burn this terrifying IMR of our country. This is the best gift you can give to your mother and various would be mothers of nation. Happy Mother’s Day!!!

No mother can bear this Labor Pain

Mother is the one who bears nine month’s labor pain to give birth to her baby and she devotes her complete life without any expectations. Mother is the one who remains hungry but can never let her child remain hungry. Mother is the one who selfless serves every need of her child without asking anything in return. Can she ever bear a pain of seeing her child as a labor in tender age?

Child Labor is the major evil in our society which is hindering the nation’s progress and hampering physical and mental development of our future generation. Poverty, lack of education, over population and growth of informal economy are the important causes of child labor in India. The only factor that we can work upon on individual level is education. Education is basic need of every individual and it has to be fulfilled in any case to eradicate most of the evils from the society like unemployment, poverty, over population, health problems, etc. There are variousEducation Schemes which state & central government are providing but they are not reaching the exact audience because of lack of awareness.

Today on the International Labor Day, we all should together take a pledge to spread education schemes among the right audience, so that, we can save the future of our nation. If proper education would be provided to every individual then, this problem can be solved upto a great extent. Education can make parents aware of the harms of child labor and education can enable kids in getting good jobs and better future. The 2001 national census of India estimated the total number of child labor, aged 5–14, to be at 12.6 million and among that 12 million children in India were in a hazardous job. Diamond industry, fireworks manufacture, silk manufacturer, domestic labor, coal mining, agriculture, etc. are the main industries where kids are employed. All these industries are dangerous especially for kids. So, let’s take an initiative to spread education schemes, so that, it becomes easy for the needy to get the education.

Government Schemes can be successful only when masses support them. SearchSchemes is an initiative of Kiran Seva Nyas to spread the Government Schemes to masses. It gives a single platform where all schemes & their application procedure in mentioned to make people the information available. Its motto is to make more & more people avail the government schemes and contribute in the growth & development of India.

Child Labor is such a pain that no mother can bear it. So, let’s together work in the direction of eradicating Child Labor. Happy International Labor Day (1st May).

Pledge to do something new this year

Every year on 31st December we take resolutions to work for self betterment and society’s welfare. Every day we while bowing our head in front of god we think of doing something for the mankind to add ‘punya’ in the list of karmas but with our daily hectic schedule it is really very difficult to take out time. New year resolutions go vain just the other day.

Today on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, Hindu New Year lets together take a pledge to bring a change in society. SearchSchemes is here with better and easy ways to help mankind. It has gathered all the information related to Madhya Pradesh & Central government schemes on single platform which is accessible to everyone. All one has to do is to share those schemes with friends, relatives, colleagues, acquaintances and everyone who might need them. Schemes of education, employment, agriculture, development, health, child & women welfare, rural development, urban development, etc. are given in detail with information of applying procedure.

Apart from friends, relatives & colleagues, every day you meet many people like watchman, milkman, maid, liftman, sweeper, tea wala, peon and they all are in need of just a little push for realizing the dreams or fulfilling their needs. Though sharing the link of SearchSchemes is not beneficial for them as they cannot access the website but sharing the information of schemes which can help them, is really worth. For example, you meet your maid daily and if she is not providing education to her girl child and bringing her in same profession, then you can help her by sharing information of Education Schemes for Girls, so that, she get the education and you get a satisfaction of returning something to the society or doing ‘punya’. Might be your old liftman has served as a government servant throughout his life but now struggling for pension. Sharing just a little information might help him in getting his right. There are lots of situational examples which are actually real life incidents that we hear and overhear in our day to day life, but now is the time to listen and keep our eyes open!

Do it for the sake of ‘Punya’ or for the sake of ‘Better Nation’ or for any reason but do it because all we want is Action! Often we crib about problems but might be this initiative will help us in finding solution rather than pondering upon it.

Join hands with SearchSchemes in this social cause and this newyear take a pledge to do something for people, society & nation!
